This CHECKERS Industrial UC1700 2 lbs Small Truck Urethane Wheel Chock is specifically designed for smaller vehicles like pick-ups, automobiles, trailers and small utility trucks. Roadblocks 1700 Series Urethane Wheel Chocks are strong, safe and lightweight. Impact absorbing chocks grip tire and road, will not cause tire or pavement damage and are oil and chemical resistant. For added safety and convenience, these wheel chocks have "How to Use" guidelines molded directly into the chock. OSHA Specifies: 1910.178 (k) Trucks and railroad cars: (1) The brakes of highway trucks shall be set and wheel chocks placed under the rear wheels to prevent the trucks from rolling while they are boarded with powered industrial trucks. Large 4 1/2 lbs and 6 lbs Truck Urethane Chocks are also available (P/N: UC1500-4.5) and (P/N: UC1500-6). Sold individually.

    Wheel Chock User Guidelines:

  • Improper use may result in product failure
  • Select wheel chock according to vehicle type and size
  • Always use in pairs and on firm surfaces
  • Multiple pairs may be required in extreme conditions
  • Always chock in direction of grade
  • Chock both sides of wheel if direction of grade is undetermined
  • Use only after parking brake is applied and tested
  • Center chocks snugly and squarely against tread of each wheel
  • Always test chocks to insure they meet requirements
  • Do not drive over wheel chocks
