JUSTRITE 08205 32" Flame Arrester Self-Closing Steel Safety Funnel

This JUSTRITE 08205 32" Flame Arrester Self-Closing Steel Safety Funnel prevents dangerous spills when transferring flammable liquids. This large funnel measures 10 3/4" in diameter x 10" in height and offers easy pouring during liquid waste collection. The funnel features a 10 3/4" wide-mouth opening with a hinged, stay-open lid and a built-in flame arrester to prevent fire intrusion. The galvanized steel with durable epoxy powder coat finish is self-closing in case of a fire, wide mouth funnels are a must when transferring liquids into the relatively small 2" bung on a 30 or 55 gallon drum. JUSTRITE offers funnels with superior safety features that make them ideal for use with solvents, thinners, oil and paint wastes, the heavy 18-gauge galvanized steel with electrostatically applied epoxy powder coat paint provides durability and chemical resistance. All funnels comply with EPA and OSHA Regulations and are FM Approved. These funnels accept a lock to prevent unauthorized access, they are intended for use with flammables and are fitted with a brass flame arrester that absorbs and dissipates heat, preventing any external ignition source (like sparks from powertools, static electricity or cigarettes) from reaching the drum's flammable contents.

Popular model 08207 has a 6" flame arrester which handles most transfering needs while model 08205 features a 32" flame arrester and provides greater liquid flow. These self-closing models have a fusible link that melts at 165° F. The cover then automatically shuts in case of a fire to extinguish the flames.
