MIO Mechanical CG-51638 5/16" or 3/8" Cable Wire Grabs are designed to provide fall protection for workers ascending or descending from a variety of ladders or vertical structures. This stainless steel cable grab is easily removed or repositioned along a cable. If a fall occurs, the cable grab immediately locks onto the cable preventing the possibility of a free-fall. The cable grab must be used with a shock-absorber and a full-body harness as a part of a personal fall arrest system. Recommended lifeline: 5/16" or 3/8" diameter stainless steel or galvanized 7 x 19 aircraft cable (none-lubed) with a minimum tensile strength of 8,000 lbs. Sold each.
